We have been using the Cornell University birding site to learn more about the birds in our backyard. They even have a coloring book which asks the young artist great questions about the bird they are coloring! What an easy way to begin a birdwatching notebook!
Daniel got a great underbelly shot of our robin friend from his desk, but alas, the robin was high in the tree, so he could not capture his facial expression! Daniel thinks he looks like the President of the United States in this shot.

On a snowy, spring day like this, we decided to stay inside and take window shots of the nature in our backyard!
